We have been actively promoting the use of the most sustainably resourced bamboo for all our products, meeting the highest social and environmental standards. We understand that it is until now impossible to be 100% sustainable but we continue to work with our best in sustaining our environment. In 2022, Bamboa (membership no. GO-6215-2911) is recognised as a Hong Kong Green Organisation which is led by the Environmental Campaign Committee.
Our certification proves our commitment and efforts in achieving the following environmental aspects: Wastewi$e, Energywi$e, IAQwi$e and Carbon Reduction.
Ecocert is an inspection and certification body accredited under the International Standard ISO/IEC 17065 :2012. Being one of the pioneers of organic certification and leaders in the French and Belgian market, Ecocert provides a guarantee of traceability and transparency that meets the environmental expectations of consumers and users.
Certification is subject to supervision and requires site visits. We are proud that the final products of our bamboo products are certified by Ecocert SA as organic according to the Ecocert Organic standard.
The Forest Stewardship Council's label is the mark of responsible forestry. The FSC is a global non-profit organisation that sets forest management standards both in an environmental and social sense.
Our bamboo materials involved in the production come directly from FSC-certified forests, adhering to the responsible practices throughout the production progress - important at Bamboa, because we have always believed that the making of our products should not come at the expense of our environment.
OEKO-TEX certifies that our finished fabric, especially bamboo Lyocell fabric, contains no harmful chemicals. OEKO-TEX is an international independent body for all certifications.
Bamboa's products are certified, all the thread, fabrics and trims meet the human-ecological requirements - Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex requirements.
Created in 2003, amfori BSCI, being a leading global business association for open and sustainable trade, has enabled over 2,400 companies to Trade with Purpose, advocating in social performance improvements in the supply chains.
At Bamboa, our textile factories and supply chains are in close contact with amfori BSCI and grade A certified, ensuring the not only the quality of our products, but also the factory environment and the production progress.
